I may have find her.
Marie Louise Frenette born Aug.11,1855 in Quebec City (St-Roch parish) daughter of Jacques Frenette and Émilie Parent. We can find her with her mother, brother and two sisters in the census of 1870 in Chicago (name Mary Frinnet). No mention of the father (maybe dead). I also find a Mary Halley who die July 26,1892 in Chicago (Illinois Death certificate #00006812 for verification).
If we can have her marriage certificate or inscription in the parish register (both Ferdinand and Mary were roman catholic) that will confirm it.
