W. B. Friar [Benny] was born about 1845 in Habersham County GA to Ransom and Arpa Friar. He is listed in the 1880 Habersham census with his wife Elizabeth, but was not in the 1900 census. He was in Rusk Co. [Henderson] TX in 1910 with children William, Henry, and A.C. [there were 3 more children alive at that time]. He died before 1930, the date of Elizabeth's death. Their son A. C. Friar of Shreveport LA was the informant for her death certificate. I am trying to locate descendants of this part of Ransom's line [there are at least 5 others], and I would be very grateful for any information.
