The Robert Fryer in question is not related to Daniel Boone Friar. Robert Fryer who died at San Saba, Texas is of the family of my great, great grandfather, James Andrew Jackson Fryer, son in law of Louisa Humphries, illigitimate daughter of Sarah Evans and John Humphries. Sarah's brother, Joseph Evans and family came from Perry County,
Alabama and settled in Leon County, Texas, Sarah came there also with her only child, Louisa, who had married her first cousin, John Evans, son of Joseph Evans, brother to Sarah. John and Louisa's daughter, Elizabeth Catherine Evans married James
Andrew Jackson Fryer and the above mentioned Robert Fryer is one of their children, also, my great grandfather, George Washington Fryer, another child, was Robert Fryer's brother. Many of my FRYER Family and other relatives were born, died and buried in Dewitt and neighboring counties
James Andrew Jackson Fryer is buried at Austin, Texas.
