Richard Friers, born about 1800, from Glaslough, Monaghan, Ireland. Was an Orangeman. Died 1873 in Glaslough. Son was also Richard Friers, born about 1841, died 1908. His son was Richard John Friers, born December 1866, Glaslough, and died in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1922. His son was Albert Edward Friers, my Grandfather, who fought, and was injured in the First World War 1918, 208th Battalion (Canadian Irish). Any connections please post message or e-mail. Thanks!
