I am searching for information on my ggg-grandfather Heinrich (Henry) Schaper born in Hanover, Germany in the early 1800's He married May Elisabeth ? and had three( I believe) children in Germany and then came to America in the early 1840's where he had several more. He finally ended up in Clinton and Highland Counties in Ohio. He died before 1845 and his wife married a JACOB SHAFER (according to paperwork but it could be wrong). They had several children, I believe. I don't know which ones are Schapers and which are Shafers. There is a John in this list. Any help? Thanks. Diana
