I researched the history that I have on my family. My great grandfather Christoph Fricke married Friederike Friederichs in 1861. Friedericke is my grandmother who is buried in the Immanuel Lutheran Cem in Mt. Olive, Illinois as referenced in Sharon Buethner's message. Christoph had two sisters (Sophie and Katherine) and three brothers (Heinrich, Ernst and Hartwig). Sophie married a man with the family name of Heers. Katherine died at 3 years. Heinrich married twice, first to the widow Duevel (born Mueller) and then to Marie Niebuhr. Heinrich's family eventually moved to Mr. Olive. Hartwig also married twice, first to Johanna Koellner and then to Dorothee Mueller. Dorothee's mother's maiden name was Bangaman. This family also emigrated to Mt. Olive. Ernst married a lady with the family name of Borchers and remained in Germany. Prior to my great grandfather Christoph and his siblings I found the following family names that previously married into the family: Heineke, Woehler, Schmidt, and Sander. My great grandfather and those in the family before him lived in the Gifhorn area (Zahrenholz, Gr. Oesingen) located just north of Hanover, but south of Hamburg. None of the family names you listed appear to match but don't despair. Until I started my research, I thought Fricke was an almost unknown name. Good luck!
