There are/were a number of Fricke(s) in America - many who came to America and Canada in the mid 1800's. It would help to know what time period you are looking at, and/or any family links you might know which actually connect your family to America.

I am related to two William/Wilhelm Fricke(s) that I know of - one was born in Indiana (1867), but the other was born in Prussia/Germany. I am actually trying to locate relatives in Germany/Prussia for that Wilhelm Fricke (b. 1838 d.1911) who emigrated to America in 1865. I believe was at least living in the village of Lahde, Westfalen, Prussia prior to emigrating, but don't know if that was his home town/place of birth or not. He eventually settled in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.

Any help would be appreciated.
