I found a card with a photo of Mrs. and Rev. Elmer Fricke.
, Accepted for service in India. The Ceylon and India General Mission, 128 South Lombard Ave,, Oak Park, Illinois. I remember meeting Elmer in about 1956 at my grandmother's house in California when he was on his way to accept the missionary post possibly in Karachi. I have always wondered what happened to the couple. Written on the back of the card "mother's address, Mrs Johnson, 869 So. Ardmore Ave., Los Angeles, Calif."

Some older posts mention an Elmer Fricke b. 1917, Carrol Co., Iowa who married Florence Boell. His father was William Fricke and he had a brother, Harry. Does anyone know if this is the man I met?
