Looking for info on Karl Fricke b Mar 1859

So I managed to track down my Fricke family back to my immigrant ancestor but before that they ghosts. It's like they appeared out of nowhere.

This is what I know: Karl Fricke was born March 3, 1859. He married Mary Fricke and they moved to America in 1890 or 1891 from what somewhere within the region that today is called Lower Saxony.

They had a family farm in rural McLennan County, Texas near Waco. They had 12 children - Henry, Lucy, Adolph, Ella, Hermann, Erich, Emil, Olga, Atts, Edal, Tildia and Paul. Karl died in 1913 and is buried and Gerald Cemetery in McLennan Co.. Mary died in 1919 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Waco.

Part of the problem is that they appear under a large variety of names on official records. Karl appears on various sources as Karl, Carl, Charlie and Charles. Mary appears as Mary and Marie. Even her maiden name appears as several different variations - Knauss, Knause, Nausey, Kanuse and Nauss.

But, anyways, if anyone has any information on this family, particularly their life before immigrating to America, I'd really appreciate it.
