Christian Fricke (mother: D. Henrietta Stactfeld) b. 1834 in Bremerhaven, Germany d. 11 Dec 1905 in NY
m. 26 Aug 1860 in Bremerhaven Johanne Gosling b. 1836 in Bremerhaven, Germany d. 1906 in NY
children:
1)Anne Fricke b.12 May 1861 d. Feb 1923
m. Henry Wagner
2)Wilhelmine Fricke b. 1864 died at 5 mos.
3)Frank Fricke b. Abt 1870 died at 3 mos.
4)Sophia L. Fricke b. Abt 1885 d. 1885
5)Adele Fricke b.4 Jan 1872 d. 1949
6)William Fricke b. 25 Aug 1867 d.?

Christian & Johanne Fricke immigrated with their dearest friend Dietrich Klomberg d. 1915. All (except for William) are buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Queens, NY.

Christian Fricke was a volunteer substitute for Melville Hazan, Carmel, Putnam Co., NY. His enlist date 1 Sept 1864 from Tarrytown, NY. He was a 30 yr old Private in Co "G" 7th Reg NYC, served in Petersburg, VA & mustered out 19 June 1865 at Harts Island, NY. He rec'd a $12 monthly pension for his service.

5'6", fair complexion, auburn hair & hazel eyes.
Occupation: Baker
