I am a decendant of Jonas Friday (Andrew's brother) and still live in the Gaston County, North Carolina area. I have a good bit of information to share and would like to know what you have. Nicholas Freytag came from Germany in September 19, 1738 on the ship Thistle. Accompanying him were his wife, Anna Elisabetha, sons Nicholas & Johann Martin and daughters Catherine and Elisabetha. Nicholas Jr. and the decendants of his son Jonas are buried in the Friday Family Cementary on Fancy Hill Rd. in Dallas, NC. Much more info available.
