My info goes this way: Peter Fridig, born on Swiss-German border, had a son also named Peter. This Peter had a son named Hans Martin who had a son named John Jacob who had a son named Henry who had a son named Reuben in 1803. Reuben is the only Reuben Friday I know of to settle in Itawamba Co, MS, and he was there in its early years because his son (my gg-grandfather) was born there in 1836. Reuben died there in 1880 and is buried at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery. If this information is incorrect, I would appreciate knowing about it as I've given it out to many people. I thank you in advance for any light on the subject!
