BOSSIER CITY, LA - Howard Friday, known as Joe to his friends and Paw Paw to his family, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at the age of 77.
He loved unconditionally, never expecting anything in return, believing a man's word or handshake was his bond. He was an expert craftsman, gifted in the areas of electrical, engineering and construction. As an entrepreneur, his vision for the future was always with the glass overflowing. He was the former owner of Everett's Bindery and Everett's Business Forms.
His greatest pleasure was his family, his sweetheart Evelyn of 58 years, devoted daughter Emily Cain, son-in-law Clint Cain, who he thought of as a son, and granddaughter Amanda Cain, the light of his life.
In lieu of flowers, in his honor, he asked you take a friend to lunch and show kindness to someone in need. Any memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Shreveport.
Many thanks to the Bossier City Fire Department and WK Bossier Emergency Room for their quick action. Much appreciation for the excellent care and family support from the doctors and staff at LSU Neuro ICU.
To our dear family and friends, our utmost appreciation and love.
Please join us for a celebration of his life, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Couch Chapel. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
