Hi Pam: I am the great grandson of Charles Wesley Fridell thru Isaac Wesley Firdell. I have been in touch with Debbie and we are exchanging data. Charles Wesley was married to Mariah (Sarah) Jane Youngblood and they were both from S. C. but there the trail stops. Debbie thinks that Charles stowed away on a boat from Ireland. I don't know that to be true but I do know that I have not been able to trace him before 1850 in the Union County, Georgia census. I do have most of the descendants of Isaac and would be agreeable to exchanging data with you. Let me hear from you soon. Ted.
