My family came from the area of what was Kirchdraft, Hungary (later changed to Spisske-Podhradie, Czechoslovakia and finally to Slovakia in 1955). My GG-Grandfather Yacov (or Jacob) Friedman (mother was Rachel Hamburger") came to the US in the 1880's. His father's name was "Bernad Friedman". He married my GG-Grandmother Jennie Newirth (mother was "Rivka Wald") also from Hungary. Her father's name was "Wolf Newirth". Thank you, Michael Friedman Notify Administrator about this message?
