FRIEDMAN / FREEDMAN in Russia (now Lithuania)

A wonderful fellow researcher has just been able to determine that my Russian-Jewish family of FRIEDMAN/FREEDMAN was from the area of Serey/Sereje, Russia (now Seirijai, Lithuania). Isaac DRATSCH (born about 1884; Isac Drash on his death certificate), son of Jacob and Sarah, married Ester FRIEDMAN/FREEDMAN (born about 1854), daughter of Israel and Annie. They immigrated to NYC in 1884 and 1887. They had 10 children -- at least 2 were born in Serey. Anyone have any information on these families? Thanks so much.
