Philip Friend/Freund, Elizabeth Hundred 1776 Census (Maryland)
Posted by: Robert Wolf (ID *****1831) Date: October 22, 2006 at 13:30:56

Rachel Friend (1860-1925) was my paternal grandmother. She was a direct descendant of Philip Friend (1718-1801) in the Elizabeth Hundred MD census. I am interested in further researching this German line of the Friend family. In the 2001 GenForum posting #779, Dan Friend noted that he had "indications" that Philip and his family left Rotterdam in 1751 on the ship "Patience." My recent email to him was returned. Does anybody know how I can communicate with Dan Friend? Does anyone have any information on the ancestry of this Philip Friend, such as the European region or town of his emigration?
