EDWARDSVILLE - Lois J. DeBeaux, 75, of Edwardsville, formerly of Worden, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born March 4, 1931, in Independence, Mo., the daughter of John Percy and Helen V. Brink Friend. She married William J. DeBeaux in 1949; they later divorced. A son, Robert LaRue DeBeaux, preceded her in death.
Mrs. DeBeaux was a homemaker.
Survivors: four daughters, Linda Susan DeBeaux of Marble Hill, Mo., Deborah Marie Bushong of Glen Carbon, Barbara Kathryn Hayes of Marble Hill, Mo., and Elinor Christine Varady of Edwardsville; three sons, Michael Elmer DeBeaux of St. Genevieve, Mo., William Joseph DeBeaux of Madison and Stephen Wayne DeBeaux of Fredericktown, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was accorded.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Williamson Funeral Home, Staunton, the Rev. Chris Ritter officiating. Interment of cremains: St. James Cemetery, Edwardsville.
