I would say it is possible. The history of the Frigout name, what little I know, says that nearly all of the families bearing this name were from Normandy, or "La Manche", in France. It is a rare name in England, where my ancestors moved in the early 1800's, and where today it is pronounced "Frig-out" just like it looks.
