Dear Elsa,

I'm from Ashland, KY and I'm interested to find out about the orgin of the Friley name. I was told it possibly came from France or Germany. Have you done any research on the name? I'm curious to how far back the spelling of the name stays the same. Their are many with the name Fraley in Kentucky and they say we are the same. I have the spelling Friley back to the early 1800's in Kentucky but can't seem to get out of the state. I would appreciate any information you can give me about your family orgins and how far you have been able to trace.

Thank you,

Richard Friley
