Thank you for the additional information on Joel Gilbert Frink. He had arrived in the Grafton community around 1877, purchased a few lots in the new community, was associated with the Bassett & Hunting Elevator and listed as mayor in 1883 druing the time that the C.M. & St. P. railroad "opened for business" from Mason City, IA to Austin, MN.

Some time ago (specifically January 2001), we had communicated briefly about Alonzo Frink. I finally requested copies of his pension file (not the whole file) which had been initiated by his widow Jane Converse Frink Austin. If you don't already have any of this, let me know.

Also, do you know how Joel Gilbert Frink and Alonzo Frink may be related? Thanks again.

Violet
