Dear Pat,
Yes, it is John, 2nd generation, who is buried in the Frink/Burdick Yard. Although the Stonington Historical Society's booklet, Stonington Graveyards: A Guide, says his grave is not there, I have a 1999 letter from Ray Holland which says: "On property on the top of a hill in back of my property [in Pawcatuck] is a very old cemetery. On one of the stones that has printing on it is a crude marker with the name John Frink and the date. The marker had been knocked over by some motorcycle riders, and I reset the stone. The date on the stone is either 1753 or 1757, it's hard to determine." [I note in my book: "All of us in the Frink family are indebted to Mr. Holland." I heard from him because I had put a small notice in a local paper there, saying I was working on the family history.]
The graveyard is on Route 2 about two-tenths of a mile from the intersection of Elm Ridge Road and Route 2. Behind a Texaco station on the west side, a path leads up the hill to an open field. The yard is on the right on top of the hill. One of my notes says that both John and Hannah were buried on the path leading up the hill.

My information about Thankful and Richard Crouch is very limited. I have:

28. Thankful, b. February 8, 1714.
M. Richard Crouch. B. April 5, 1712, Groton, CT, to Christopher and Ruth _____ Crouch. He served in the French & Indian War.

I have looked at my pages to see whether I can add Thankful as a Head of Family in the 3rd generation, but it doesn't look possible. How many chldren did she and Richard have?
They are both indexed, of course. If you have Ruth's maiden name, I can fit that in.

Best regards, Peggy
