My grandmother was Sophie (Sonia) Frishman dau of Chevel Izrak Frishman of Vilnius, who was a money lender to the aristocracy. She & sisters Ida, Rose & Marie came to US. Sophie, Ida & Rose married 3 Kubitsky (Cabitt)brothers when they settled in Boston. The 3 men were from Orany (Varena), Lithuania. There was also a brother Isadore who was a food taster for the czar & was "lost" when he refused to convert. Always looking for Frishmans in hope of finding family.
