My great great grandfather was George Oscar Frising. I am not sure if he was originally from NY but I do know that if not, he did end up settling here. He married a Norris (I don't have a given name) from Virginia. The Norris' came to Wappinger Falls, NY. When they married, they had 5 children: Clara (my great grandmother), Mildred, Aida, Ruth and Wesley) who if not already there, eventually settled in the NYC area. Clara married Albert Perry LaRoza II and had 3 daughters: Virginia (my grandmother, Ruth, and Marion). I also know that Wesley Frising became a Bowery bum and eventually died and was buried in Potters Field due to the fact that the family didn't know. He was eventually found but left in Potters Field because relocating was very costly. If anyone has any information that could help I would be so greatful!
