Saw your posting concerning John Henry Frith. My earthly Father
was named John Henry Frith, b June 04,1913 , d Dec. 01,1975. His father was Sloan Frith from the Abbeville, SC area. He and my grandmother, Maggie McNair were married for awhile and later divorced.
I do not know how old my father was at that time, but he was young. Since that time,no one had any contact with Sloan. This is where I hit a dead-end.Sloan did have a brother named Orr Frith. It is suspected that a John B. Frith from Abbeville was their father. This is only speculation at this time. I am looking for Sloan or Orr or their father, any or all it doesn't matter at this time, so I can establish some kind of timeline and maybe find some info on Sloan.
As far as your John Henry and my John Henry being connected, I am not sure but I will go back to my files and see if I have anything and get back with you. If you have anything that would be of interest to me, I would like to read it. If your John Henry came from Abbeville or the surrounding area, I feel like we my have a connection.
You can contact me at:
Thanks for your time and interest.

David Frith
