Hi Suzanne, thanks for the information. My source for her birthdate was this:

which says the birthdate indicated on her death certificate was May 17, 1853; it also says the birthdate entered in cemetery records was 14 May 1853. The two dates actually given by my source differ from each other by just a few days, but agree that the year was 1853.

I see an image of the death certificate here

and indeed it gives the birthdate as 1852. It also says
Death Date:        21 May 1925
Age at Death:        73 years 5 days
which agrees with her birthdate being May 17, 1852. So this looks more reliable than my previous source.

It also agrees with the 1860 census
