I'm not related to this family of Friths, but because my oldest identified ancestor was a Frith from a different lineage, I started a DNA project that can tell which families are related & which aren't. See

I'm helping some other people in the project, who are apparently descended from the Abbeville Friths, figure out where their ancestors came from. We have circumstantial evidence that they came from Virginia, but we don't have enough members yet to show us how many different lines of Friths there are in VA (let alone in Bermuda, or England, or the world)
