Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Frank Fritsch came to the U. S. in 1866 from the independent German state of Oldenburg, with his wife, Johanna (nee Hillers), and their first child. Frank said he actually was from Prussia, so I assume he migrated to Oldenburg sometime before 1863/4. He was a blacksmith, farm machinery repairman, and farmer, and was first in Goodhue Co., Minn., then in LaCrosse Co., Wis., then in 1872 to Red Willow Co., Nebr. I welcome an exchange of information about the Fritsches and Hillers. Earl F. Kisling
