I am interested in your Fritsch information posted on genforum for two reasons: My G granddad, Francis Albert Fritsch had similar given names as your Fritsches and both families lived in WI, at one time. My Francis Albert Fritsch (He said he was born in Prussia.) married a Johanna Hillers in the province of Oldenburg in 1864 and the couple came to the U. S., to Goodhue Co., Minn., in 1866. In 1868 they moved to LaCrosse Co., Wisconsin, then to Red Willow Co., Nebraska in 1872, to buy homestead land. I am descended from Frederick William Fritsch and the older son was named Charles. Does there seem to be any connection to your Fritsches?
