Frank (Francis Albert) and Johanna (nee Hillers) Fritsch had one child, a daughter, with them when they came to the U. S. in 1866. Eventually they had a total of six chidren. The family finally settled permanently in Red Willow Co., Nebraska, in 1872, and owned farm land in this and the county just north of their farm. The couple's second son, Fred Fritsch, was my grandfather. My mother's maiden name was Fritsch.
