I am also researching the Fritch Family. My mother's maiden name is Fritch, she was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan to a Kenneth W. Fritch (not sure what the W stands for, could be William or Wallace). Kenneth was born in 1904, my mother thought he was born in the Jackson area but the county has no birth record for him. Kenneth married Dorothy Elizabeth Banister born in 1905 who was a Michigan native and they had 7 children, one of which was my mother. The family relocated to California in the 1950's. Kenneth was raised by another family and never spoke of his parents so I have hit a brick wall in trying to discover who they were. There have been family rumors that maybe he changed his surname, maybe this means he dropped the 's' in Fritsch to Fritch. If anyone has a connection please let me know.
