Looking for Fritsch/Wehrling/Jeffries

My sister and I are trying to locate my dads relatives...thought he was born Carl Fritsch in March of 1910, however, on the 1920's census his mother, Elizabeth(Wehrling or Werling), shows as a widow then with 4 children: Phillip, Louise, Harry, and a Charles. Husband had been James Fritsch.
She then married a Robert Jeffries(not sure of spelling, could be Jeffreys, or Jefferies)a fireman and had 2 more children, Robert and William. They should all have originated from the Pennsylvania area. Last remembrance of my grandmother was around 1956..so, her death was probably in mid to late 1950's.
Any help would be appreciated.
