UPDATE: found my grandmother, Elizabeth Wehrling Fritsch married a Harry Jeffries(not Robert) and he was listed on the 1930's Philadelphia census as a "roofing contractor". Their 2 sons at the time(which would be my half uncles)were Robert(age 10) and William (age 8)...my grandmothers children by previous marriage(to either George or James Fritsch) were Philip, Louise, Charles(which might be Carl who was my father)and Harry.
The census shows my grandfather to be James(we think),however, my fathers birth certificate shows his dad to be a George Fritsch.
Any connection, please let me know....
