My 7th grade daughter is researching the Froboese family for a school project (which usually means Mom's assistance!). I've known about this website for quite some time, but have never taken the time to really look at it.

I have an old newspaper article about Edward Froboese's trip here on the Neptune. It was in the San Antonio Express, October 21 1951. Name of the article is "Trans-Atlantic Diary - 1852". It has some very interesting information from his diary. If you can't find it, I can try to copy it and send it to you.

Looking at the information that my husband's cousin has managed to collect, your grandfather is the brother of my father-in-law, Fred.
