I've always been proud to have an uncommon surname. Now I'm relieved as it has proven difficult to trace my roots back to Alsece and Germany. It sure is nice to see so many Frobose's reaching out to one another. From time to time we shall all cross paths with a Frobose that is too stuborn to admit they are in any way related. Please lets not forget them when we create a GIANT Frobose tree one day.
I say this because my great grandfather made every effort to keep his ancestors from knowing what situation caused him to flee his country to come to america. I hope that all of us can pass our heritage good or bad onto our children so that they may learn from it. As one great American once said
those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
