My husband's family is descended from Fredericka Frobose, daughter of Gottlieb Johann Friedrick Frobose, b. 1836 in Einbeck, King of Hanover, Germany. Fredericka married Jacob FITTING II in Nutley NJ in 1880. I'd love any information about Friedrich(?) Frobose and his family. We think his wife was Cristiane Elisabeth DARM, from Mehrenberg, Duchy-Nassau, Germany, born in 1835. We show 7 children in this family: Fredericka, b. 1860 NYC; Mary, who also married a FITTING; Allie; Frederick; John; Kate; and Phillip.
