Leroy is a descendant from August David Froboese of New Braunfels, Texas. This may be of interest to you. I have two german script letters written by Ed. Froboese in 1872. Our neighbors grandfather was friends with Ed. and his mother still had these letters. Since our name was Froboese he had them translated from someone in New Braunfels in English. I also have a news paper clipping mentioning Ed. as being a tax assessor in Bexar Co. in 1894.
