San Francisco Fross family
Posted by: Lindsey William Fross Date: September 24, 2001 at 14:00:45

The San Francisco Fross family's origins are from 2 brothers, Morris and Bernard who came from Pozen (Germany/Poland)in 1870. Both were tailors and traveled straight through Ellis Island to San Francisco. We also understand that the Fross name was not "changed" but the double s is phonetic to the "ff" used in the older german language.

any thoughts on my ramblings whould be appreciated,

Lindsey
