has the will of John Fruit of North Carolina. In it, he leaves his daughter, Penninah, one dollar.
However, the names in the will confuse me.
The will lists sons James and Thomas, and daughters, Penninah, Sibbilla. Grace, Elizabeth, and Thomas's son, John.
My geneology shows that John Fruit was the father of James Samuel Fruit, and J. S. Fruit had children, John, Thomas, Edmund, Alexander, James, Sibylla, Elizabeth and Martha.
However, James Samuel Fruit died in Dewitt Co. IL, in 1830, so this is most likely his father's will, and James had siblings as well as children named Thomas, Sibbilla, and Elizabeth.
