I have Mary Ann Fryer, born circa 1842, in Staffordshire, with father John Frederick Fryer. I found a man with this name on the 1881 census living at Handsworth, Staffs. Is he related to your Fryer families?? very interested in hearing of any Fryer families from this area. My Mary Ann came to South Australia, in 1865, on ship "Clara", as a single female, servant, girl, from Gloucester, but later documents say she was born in Staffs??. Valerie
