Clara Hawkins b. Aug. 1861 to Ralph Hawkins and Susan Jane Erwin Hawkins. Married 1)Isham (Isom) Simmons on 1-14-1880 in Woodruff Co. Ar. Children: Oneal(m) b. Dec. 1880, Willie(William)(m) Oct. 1881, Onnie, (Nona, Ona)(f) b. Feb, 1884, Jim (James Houston) b.9-17-1886 d. 7-4-1912 Nona married 1)James Guest 5-28-1901, 2) ? King. James Houston is buried in the Woodmen of the World Cem. in Woodruff Co.
Clara married 2) E. W. Fryer 10-9-1887 children: Jancy? (f) b. Sep. 1887, Patrick (m) b. Oct. 1890, Thelker (Felker ?)(m)b. Dec. 1893, Ida (f) b. May 1894, Omer? (f) b.June 1896
(these names and dates are according to the 1900 Woodruff county census and info found in the Arkansas archives)
Susan Jane Erwin Hawkins later married Daniel Monroe Cook. They are buried in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pope Co. Ar.
Does anyone have any info concerning these Fryer or Simmons descendants?
