Carol and Jerri,
I am also researching a Jacob Fryer, and would like to know if you have found any information for my Jacob in you searches. My Jacob is listed on the 1880 Census for Greenwood, Clearfield Co., PA.
Jacob Fryer (b. abt 1840 in PA) m. Mary (b. abt 1841)
Children: Mary E.; James A.; Alice A.; John A.; George W.; William; Thomas; Samuel.
I believe the son William is my wife's Great Grandfather William Harrison Fryer.
