here is all i have, and i made a mistake it was'nt wm.t., but wm. w. fryer, b/ 1797,prince william co., va. m/ sarah (last name unk.) mar.11,1822, green co.,ky. children: john lewis, james madison, alexander lafayette, flories josephins (joseph),hetty frances, elvira ann & sarah magdalene fryer. wm. d/ ca aug.1867, washington c.,oregon. all of the children of wm.& sarah were b/ in green co.,ky. but i'm sure there is a connection some how or another. john lewis fryer married bef. he left ky., the info. i have is not really much it's all under diana decker landess,OREGON HISTORY, but it says that his (john lewis)wife (unk.) died bef.coming to oreg. and he had a young child (no name). it never crossed my mind to ques. that and what happened to that child. i don't live in oreg. any more and am in a smaller town w/little access to that type of info. i'm so use to having at hand. too bad i didn't make better use of it. the basic thing i have on john lewis fryer is that he was a general tradesman & later engaged in farming and wenting to freighting, making trips to missouri and new mexico, bef. the building of railroads across the plains .in oregon he became a well accomplished farmer. joy blanchard
