searching for the father of John Fryer born 1831 Halmore Gloucestershire
I have just posted two Gloucestershire Fryer queries and now I read you are interested in Gloucestershire Fryers. My mother in law was a Fryer whose father was William Fryer born Hainses, Berkeley in 1870 his father was John Fryer who married Sarah Ann Reeves. I know this to be correct as we have original documentation.other children born to John and Sarah were Alfred (born Slimbridge 1859), Elizabeth b. 64 and George b.65 born Newport, Ellen b.66, Matthew 1871, Leonard 1872, Charlotte 1875, Harry 1877-1897 (I have the in Memorium Card) and Mary Anne born 1880/81 Hainses Berkeley. There is a link with Fryers from Gossington which is very near. MUST be a connection somewhere.
