My husband's mother was Ruth Friar - from Timmonsville SC. Her parents were Edward Lee Friar (1900-1939) & Betty Juanita (Nita) Lloyd (1906-1957) from SC. Ed's parents were Saul/Sol Friar & Betty Odom. I have not been able to go back any further than that so far. I have an obituary about Thelma Friar, sister of Ruth Friar, but it didn't give any earlier information. Both Thelma & Ruth Friar married into the Carmon family in the Florence Cty., SC area.
I am trying to find out as much as I can about this family, but am running into roadblocks for sure.
