I am rather ashamed to see that I do not appear to have followed up your posting re Fryers from Gloucestershire. Apologies.
I cannot see a link with your Richard and Elizabeth yet. They must have been born very early 1700s and I cannot trace what I am looking for that far back BUT one of my correspondents has a John Fryer who has a son John born 1745 who he believes is my husbands anscestor. We have not proven it yet.
Anyway thanks for info, if I get any further I will post again. Jocelyn
