Hello,

I read your note on the Fryer forum.
I am also researching the Fryer family tree.
My Name is Conan Fryer; I was born in Portsmouth in 1968.
My family tree research so far goes only back to my great grandfather, William Fryer who was killed in 1917 during WW1 and is buried near Ypres (Oakdump Cemetery)
William had we believe two brothers, but we donít know the names. They lived in Gunner Street in Portsmouth at some point though.
William was married to a lady called Sarah (we donít know here maiden name) she came from Donegal.
So we have a lot of gaps and need to find more too.
I do understand that John Fryer (Master of the HMAV Bounty) had an unknown named Fryer son, possibly who grew up in Portsmouth. It would have been during the early 1800ís he grew up.

Yours

Conan
