Josephus Flavius Fryer was married to Amanda Vaughan. Look up his and her name at http://genealogy.state.or.us/displayResults.php

They divorced 11/15/1866 in Yamhill and she died a year or so later. Joe married again in 1869 to Harriet Margaret Lady Wallan. Their first child was born in California in 1870. The rest were born in Oregon. They are found on the 1880 census in Yamhill Oregon. Joe is then found on 1885 and 1887 in Washington however his Coroner's Report 1888 in Yamhill, Oregon.

I am still working on what happened to all of them.
