Very excited to hear from you, and my father will be happy, I have heard him speak of your side of the family. My father is Archie Hubert, and is still living; only he and Chester are still with us. Dad will be 81 in June. I am old enough to remember some of the older members of the family but was pretty young. I will tell dad I heard from you. As to the Alvah name, you probably know my uncle was Alva Clifton which is what made you stand out. Do you suppose James was James Alvah? Or is it more simple, one of you named for the other? All kinds of speculation in genealogy goes, I guess. James right now is one of my stone walls, can't figure out his parents, or where he died or was buried. Don't dare hope you've had better luck...Please continue to stay in touch, delighted to hear from you. My tree on ancestry is Diana's tree; you can kind of tell what's firm and what's speculation by what I have documentation for. Diana Fryer Blick
