Carol
Thanks, yes I have and can add another one. Alfred born 1859 was John and Sarah's first Child. Interestingly I think is that no son appears to have been Christened John, not even as a second name. He married Lydia Long I think he died in 1920. I am in touch with his son Caleb Henry's grandson John Ford. John Fords mother was Kathleen Fryer born Gossington. There is a converted chapel there now owne by John Ford with memorial stones in the garden. I have a photo of Elizabeth bap 1864 and her husband Reuben Morgan and children.
Charlotte b 1875 married William Newman and I have corresponded with her direct anscestor in Nova Scotia.
Mary Ann was the Aunt Polly that Alick remembers with fondness. She had an illigitimate son Alfren Henry who we believe lived with Amy's parents when young, Roy has a vague memory that an adoptive child lived with amy when she was a child and he appears on the 1911 census as aged 8 so born 1903. from photos of Amy's and reserch he maried a scottish lady and emirated to Australis with 2 children called one called johnny. I found them in the ships passener lists in 1928 I think it was.
I have always thought there was a family rsemblance to you and your Dad. Morag from my memory was more like your mum.
You could email me at jocelyn@groveparkfarm.com, Jocelyn is my actual name.
